Payment Method

Payment by Direct Debit

Direct debit is an easy and convenient way to automatically pay your monthly electricity bill from your designated account.

You can continue to use direct debit at your new address.

For customers who are currently using or have previously used direct debit, you can complete the procedure by phone if you wish to transfer money from the same account at your new address (*). For details, please contact the OEPC Call Center.
* If more than half a year has passed since the cancellation of the direct debit,we may ask you to complete the procedure in writing again.

The direct debit date is stated in the "Notice of Electricity Consumption" delivered on the meter reading date.

Direct Debit Date (Approximate)

Main Island Area: Meter Reading Date + 9 Days
Remote Island Area: Meter Reading Date + 15 Days
*If the direct debit day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, the next business day will be the direct debit date.

Application Method For Direct Debit Payment

For customers who would like to apply, please bring your "Notice of Electricity Consumption (or Electricity Receipt)", the bankbook, and the seal that is registered at the financial institution. Please apply at the financial institution handling direct debits. Also, if you make your application through our company website (Japanese) or the OEPC Call Center, an application form prescribed by our company (Japanese) will be sent to you. Please fill in the necessary information, affix your seal, and mail it in the enclosed self-addressed envelope.
* As to the financial institutions that are handling direct debit, please refer to "Handling Offices" below.

Notes

It will take 1 to 2 months from the time of application to complete the account transfer (direct debit) procedure. Until the procedure is completed, please make your payment with the transfer invoice specified by our company, which will be sent by our company. Once the procedure is completed, we will inform you in writing with regards to the start of direct debit.

Payment by Credit Card

This is a payment method that allows you to continue to pay the monthly electricity bill with the credit card you have applied in advance. You can pay together with other credit card charges on a fixed day every month.
* This is not a method of presenting a credit card every time payment is made at a financial institution or convenience store.

How to Apply

[Application by Mail (Postal)]

Customers wishing to apply by mail (postal), please visit our company website (Japanese) or contact the OEPC Call Center, and our company's prescribed application form will be sent to you. Please send this form back to our company after entering the necessary information.

Application for credit card payment of electricity charge can be made from the following credit card company's website. *As of August 2020
Credit cards other than those listed below do not accept online applications, so please take the procedure by "Application by Mail (Postal)".

Payment by Payment Slip

This is a method of monthly electricity charge payment by the designated payment slip delivered from our company. Payment can be made by the following methods.

Payment by Smartphone

You can pay your electricity bill by using the smartphone app and reading the bar code printed on the transfer form. (Payment must be within the handling deadline period of the payment slip.)

  • *This service is operated in accordance with the terms of use of each company.
  • *In order to use the services of each company, it is necessary to register your information and charge your electronic money.
  • *If paying with the use of smartphone app, you need a payment slip with a barcode.
  • *Please discard the invoice portion of the payment slip after completing the payment.
  • *Receipts will not be issued from Okinawa Electric Power Company.

*Such stores will have "Store with MMK" sign in front or inside the store.

Various Changes

Change in Payment Method or Receiver's Address

Please contact OPEC Call Center for change in payment method and receiver's address of payment slip.

Change of Name on Contract

For customers who wish to change the contract name due to inheritance, etc., please have the "Customer Number" that is mentioned on the "Notice of Electricity Consumption (Meter Reading Slip)", "Electricity Bill", or "Payment Slip" on hand and contact the OEPC Call Center for details. Customer under the new name will inherit all rights and obligations related to electricity from customer under the old name.
